Chris Wahnig
LEAD PHYSIOTHERAPIST, DIRECTOR
Chris is our Lead Physiotherapist with a special interest in the rehabilitation of athletes. Chris prides himself on supporting local ventures and has been the Physiotherapist for Nelson College 1st XV rugby team for the last 4 years. Chris is the current Tasman Mako Head Physiotherapist and Crusaders Academy Physiotherapist.
Outside of work Chris is a keen mountain biker and runner. He enjoys exploring the region, a round of golf and loves a good joke of the day.

Matt Doonan
LEAD PHYSIOTHERAPIST, DIRECTOR
Matt is one of our lead Physiotherapists with a background in high performance areas, having worked as the Assistant Wellington Lions Physiotherapist and Hurricanes Development Physiotherapist. Matt has a special interest in Sports Rehabilitation and enjoys pushing people to not only recover, but become a better athlete altogether.
Outside of work Matt enjoys hunting and diving in the summer months and hits the ski slopes as much as he can in winter.

Chris Max
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Chris is one of our senior physiotherapists with five years experience working with rugby teams from club to representative levels. Chris has an interest in addressing the underlying cause of your injury to make you a more injury-resistant athlete after the rehabilitation process.
Outside of work Chris enjoys hitting the gym, running, the odd round of golf, and spending time with his family.

Susanne Fraser-Harris
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
A passionate, experienced physio specialising in myofascial release massage, acupuncture and dry needling, pilates, run analysis, and strength based rehabilitation programmes.
Suze's 17 years of physiotherapy experience started with 5 years in the National Health service in the UK, working in acute medical, respiratory, neurological, post-operative, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Since making NZ home in 2011, she's enjoyed working with top skiiers, mountain bikers, run and adventure race athletes in Wanaka, New Plymouth, Tauranga and Nelson.
Outside of work, Suze enjoys sailing and windsurfing, mountain biking, trail running, and adventure racing. She and her husband Tim have two children that keep them very busy.

Jane Rossiter
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Jane is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist she has an interest in joint motor control and stabilisation through to full dynamic strength training, whether this is upper or lower limb.
Jane enjoys problem solving the causes and biomechanics behind injuries and load management for a sport or task specific goal, and enabling clients to manage injuries or deficits and getting them back on the road/bike/field stronger, tougher, and more educated on their bodies unique abilities.
She enjoys working with all ages and comes with a holistic approach to workout the stage and class of injury and also how to manage this within your lifestyle and sporting or work or life goals.
Jane has played hockey for many years and still plays hockey competitively in club and National Masters level and enjoys coaches school teams.

Postgraduate trained in acupuncture: dabbling in traditional acupuncture through to a 'western medical' approach and myofascial dry needling
Hip/pelvis and ankle foot rehab
Has training in dance injuries and training for en pointe.

Carly Ellis
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Carly graduated from Otago University in 2013 with her BPhyty. She completed her Postgraduate Diploma of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2018 at AUT and has worked in a number of private practice clinics in both Auckland and Nelson. Carly has a special interest in football and has been involved for a number of years at both domestic and international levels. Carly was previously the Physiotherapist for the NZ Women's Football Ferns and was part of the team between 2019 and 2025, supporting the team at the recent World Cup and Olympic Games.
Carly is a mum to a two year old girl and enjoys spending her time on the water and at the beach, travelling when she can and having quality time with her young family.

Emilee Oldham
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Emilee joins us at The Sports Clinic with seven years experience behind her. She has a passion for understanding how people move and perform leading her to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Physical Conditioning, and currently working towards a Master of Sports Physiotherapy.

Rebecca Clark
PRACTICE MANAGER
As the clinic's Practice Manager, Rebecca will be the first friendly face you see when you arrive.
Having lived and worked in the UK for over 20 years, Rebecca brings a wealth of experience to the practice. While her background is in similar roles, she has a proven ability to adapt her skills across diverse industries. Rebecca is an organized and positive presence, consistently bringing a smile to the team.
Outside of work, Rebecca is rediscovering the beauty of Aotearoa after many years away. She cherishes being closer to her whānau and takes every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, whether it's hiking, camping, or playing a game of beach cricket.
